Weaving Willow offer the following alternative healing therapies Reiki 45 - 90 mins R230Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.__________________________________ Reikissage 60 mins R300Reikissage or Reimassage incorporates the healing art of Reiki (Universal Life force Energy) and massage (stimulation of life force energy) to promote relaxation, enhance vitality and encourage self- healing. Taking the harmonics of Reiki and massage, beautiful energy is made to help release problems on all levels. The Reikissage is instrumental in shifting our lives towards clarity and vibrancy through relaxation and self-understanding.___________________________________ Lymphology 60 mins R300Deep breathing, rubbing the body, stroking the body, compressing
tissues, and energy have the ability to activate the lymphatic vessels. When the lymphatic
vessels are properly activated they have the ability to pull out the
dead cells, poisons, and excess water from around the cells to get the
cells into what is called the "Dry-State".___________________________________ Chakra Balancing 45 - 90 mins R300“Chakra Balancing”, like many terms in energy healing, does not have a standardized definition. It is a term which is used very loosely to indicate a procedure that increases the healthy flow of energy through the chakras and therefore through the entire energy field.A healthier flow of energy through the aura creates greater physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Balancing the chakras involved would help the energy to stop flowing so much through the overactive chakras and redistribute it to the other chakras. More energy directed to the root chakra, for example, would help you to feel more grounded and bring more silence into your awareness.__________________________Crystal healing 60mins R300Crystal healing is a technique that employs stones and crystals as healing tools. The practitioner places crystals on different part of the body, often corresponding to the chakras or places crystals around the body in an attempt to construct an energy grid, which is believed to surround the client with healing energy. The healing aids in removing blockages in the aura or the body's electromagnetic field.____________________________________ Lemurian Healing 60 mins R300 Lemurian Healing Energy is said to have ten times the power of Reiki. This energy is very good for healing the Earth, and can also be used to heal people. Lemurian healing energy has a pure, wonderful, flowing vibration. |

Shamanic healing techniques are 30,000 to 40,000 years old and are still practiced world wide by both indigenous peoples and others who are called to this work. Sometimes known as spirit doctors or medicine men, shamans view illness as disharmony in a person's life on the spiritual level. This disharmony can lead to mental, emotional, and/or physical illness if left unresolved.A shaman addresses the spiritual aspect of illness by making journeys outside of time and space into what is called “non-ordinary reality” or a universe parallel to our own. There the shaman meets spirit helpers in the form of animals or human teachers.________________________________
Meditation 101 R150In meditation we are trying to quieten the mind and detach ourselves
from our everyday thoughts and emotions. By sitting still we can feel a
greater relaxation. Even if we don’t stop our thoughts completely, by
sitting quietly, we can began to feel more relaxed, also just focusing
on our breathing helps alleviate symptoms of stress. Meditation enables us to go beyond the intellectual mind and enter into
the spiritual heart. The spiritual heart is a term we can use for where
our inner self or soul resides. Meditation is not like taking an instant fix. If we sit down to play the
piano we cannot expect to play a Rachmaninov concerto at our first
sitting, it takes practise. In this sense meditation is no different;
the more we practise meditation then the greater the benefits that will
occur. People often find that their first efforts of meditation are not
particularly productive; we become aware that our mind is very restless
(some liken it a mad monkey) However, if we practice exercises of concentration and meditation then our mind will lose its strength and we will begin to attain greater peace of mind. |
